The aim of our full design and architectural service is to provide clients with a fully designed set of drawings to submit to the local authority.
The process begins with an initial visit from our estimator, who will discuss all your needs and provide you with all the relevant information as to the feasibility of converting your loft with full planning (should your loft not have the required headheight etc other options are available)
Once a basic design has been agreed upon, our architect will arrange a second visit where he will take all important sizes and using the most modern up to date systems, produce a full set of architectural plans ready for the client to proof.
Alongside the architectural drawings a full set of structural engineers drawings will also be produced.
Once proofed by the client, these drawings are then submitted to the local planning department for approval. (As we use a fully computerised system any amendments are easy to make)
Upon gaining planning permission, building warrants are then applied for and upon receipt of these warrants, work on your project can physically begin.
To begin the process or for any advice regarding any aspect of your proposed conversion please contact us via any of the means on our contacts page.
